Support Volunteer (Alzheimers EBOP)
JOB TITLE: SUPPORT VOLUNTEER (Alzheimers Ebop)
COMMITMENT: Flexible hours according to role undertaken
DESCRIPTION: Volunteers can help make life a little easier for those living with Dementia. We have a role to suit everyone.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Helping with fundraising activities and events, or
- Administrative work, or
- Socializing with or visiting people with Dementia, or
- Providing transport for medical appointments, or
- Helping run activities to help people with Dementia
SKILLS NEEDED:
- Organizational ability
- Good communication skills
- Enjoy meeting new people
- Willing to learn more about Dementia

Donation Sorter & Packers (Food Hub)
JOB TITLE: Donation Sorter & Packers (Food Hub)

DESCRIPTION: Donation Sorter & Packers are vital to the operations and delivery of this community focused service.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sorting and packing food according to food distribution plan
- Preparing food packs for deliveries to families in need
Animal Support
JOB TITLE: Animal Support
COMMITMENT: Minimum of 6 months, 3 hour shifts.
DESCRIPTION: We are looking for volunteers to help with the daily work of caring for our animals.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Cleaning cages; feeding the animals; caring for the animals; walking dogs; taking care of small animals – guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens and birds
Programme Facilitator, Ōpōtiki
JOB TITLE: Programme Facilitator, Ōpōtiki
COMMITMENT: A few hours per week for 6mths or more
DESCRIPTION: Growing Through Grief is a social service providing education and peer-support programmes for children, young people, and adults who are experiencing change, loss and grief in their lives. This role is vital in the delivery of these programmes.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver the programme to a variety of groups and individuals on a weekly basis, during the school term.

DESCRIPTION: Events Support people are vital in helping charitable and community groups maintain their ability to support the community through the work they do.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Helping with fundraising activities such as raffles, stalls, organising events e.g Christmas Lunch, Awareness Week events etc.

Community Funding/Financial Advisor
JOB TITLE: Community Funding/Financial Advisor

DESCRIPTION: Community Funding/Financial Advisor role focuses on providing sustainable financial solutions to EBOP organisations so that they can continue to deliver their essential services to the community. This role acts as a main point of contact for charitable organisations to get advice and support with sustainable financial options.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Researching funding sources to match needs of EBOP charitable organisations
- Connecting potential funders/sponsors/donors with EBOP charitable organisations
- Supporting EBOP charitable organisations with submitting funding applications
Community Social Media Coordinator

DESCRIPTION: Community Network Volunteer Coordinator is a vital role in driving the Community Network Volunteer programme and ensuring community organisations are receiving the support they need. This role acts as a main point of contact for charitable organisations to request volunteers for specific projects as well as provides ongoing support to volunteers in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promoting EBOP Community Network and benefits of TENT membership to local organisations & volunteers
- Matching EBOP organisations with Community Network volunteers
- Maintaining and increasing the volunteer database and records
