We provide information knowledge and learning to people over 40yrs on the use of selected electronic devices.
Boomerang Bags
We sew reusable bags from donated fabric and give them away to replace plastic and non-reusable bags.
Waste Zero
A community group made up of members who share ideas and support projects that help Whakatāne move towards Zero Waste.
Community Resources Whakatane
A community reuse centre that helps reduce waste to landfill by offering reusable items for resale to our community.
Eastern Bay Villages
We work to reduce isolation and vulnerability among kaumātua/seniors in our communities by promoting mutual support and reciprocal relationships.
Financial Mentoring Services
We offer free advice, education and services to help with budgeting skills to both individuals and families across the Whakatane region.
Pou Whakaaro
We provide various learning opportunities and activities in Whakatane and Kawerau.
MS Bay of Plenty
We support individuals and the wider community affected by Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington’s Disease, and other allied neurological disorders.
Whakatane Homelessness Action Team
A community-led steering committee focused on advocacy and support for the immediate needs of homeless in Whakatāne Township.
